Earshot Cafe

What's going on: This joint at The Arts House in Old Parliament Lane started in 2005 as a bookstore-cafe supporting the Singapore arts scene. It retails books by home-grown authors, music albums and scores by Singaporean musicians and composers. It also sells DVDs of Singapore films. The 2,300 sq ft bookstore has now added band performances and book readings to its line-up of events, and has a corner called Arts Cuppa where artists and art students can paint while having coffee.
