THE Ministry of Defence and two local universities will set up a fellowship scheme for post-doctoral research on defence technology.

Mindef on Thursday signed separate Memorandums of Understandings (MOUs) with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) to establish the Temasek Research Fellowship scheme at both campuses.

The agreement with NTU also formalised the Nanyang-DSO Post-Doctoral Fellowship scheme at NTU.
