Mother of victim called the police

B suffered a swollen left ear as a result of the fight, and says he still has a constant headache and nausea.

His mother, Madam Lee, 45, said: "What was worse, his school called him yesterday to say that he will be expelled."

Madam Lee has since made a police report over the beating and says she will take legal action if necessary.

When contacted at the time, a spokesperson from Ngee Ann Polytechnic said depending on the seriousness of the matter as deemed by the school, the students may be suspended or face expulsion.

However, it says investigations are still underway, and said "no one has informed the students involved that they will be expelled."
