Office boy raped schoolgirl in back seat

>KUCHING, Malaysia: An office boy at the Immigration Department was sentenced to eight years' jail by the Sessions Court yesterday for raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl.

Mohd Yasrani Azlan Sahdan, 23, was found guilty of raping the girl in the back seat of his car at the car park of the Baitulmal government building in Petra Jaya at 2pm on April 20, 2006. Mohd Yasrani, who pleaded not guilty, was alleged to have punched the girl in the face to force her to submit to him. Judge Alwi Abdul Wahab set bail at RM5,000 in one surety pending appeal.
