Parent arrest rape suspect

Nanyang Siang Pau reported that a parent of a 15-year-old girl who was nearly raped by a man went back to the scene and arrested the suspect.

The parent, the girl and their two friends went the scene in Kulai, Johor, at about 7am on Saturday, a day after the attempted rape.

The girl pointed out the suspect outside a temple and her parent immediately arrested him. They handed the man to police.

On Friday, the victim was walking to school when a man grabbed her from behind and attempted to rape her.

Luckily, an assistant at a nearby temple opened the door and saved the teenager.
