MALAYSIA: KOSMO! reported that 13-year-old Maslina Siadin from Balik Pulau, Penang, admitted that she loves the Indonesian illegal immigrant who allegedly kidnapped her as he was good to her.

Maslina said the four-day journey on a ship they took to reach his village in Sulawesi was bad and they had very little to eat but it only strengthened her love for the 17 year-old Indonesian known as La Ila.

"Without having any money after paying 750,000 rupiah (RM200) each for the journey, we shared our meals and he always thought of me first.

"After we arrived at his home in Desa Lamaraya, I was introduced to his mother as his girlfriend from Malaysia," a smiling Maslina told the newspaper.

She added that the boy and his family were good to her and his mother had treated her when she had the measles.

She apologised to her parents for what she had put them through when she went missing on Dec 16, but said she would go to La Ila's village to find him once she was older.

Maslina was found in Sulawesi by her father Siadin Rashid, 45, and uncle Jalil Rashig, 50, on Jan 20.

Recalling their journey to Indonesia, Maslina said they left from Johor on a crowded and narrow tongkang (boat).
