SINGAPORE, June 26 - DBS Group, Southeast Asia's largest bank, on Thursday said it has hired a Ta Chong Bank executive to head its recently acquired Taiwan business

Jerry Chen, formerly a senior advisor and member of the board at Ta Chong, will from July 16 manage the Singapore lender's Taiwan business, which include the "good bank assets" of Bowa Bank which DBS purchased in February.

Other recent appointments by DBS, whose new Chief Executive Richard Stanley took the helm last month, include David Gledhill, who will join the Singapore lender as head of group technology and operations in August.
