Quake shakes central Philippines

>MANILA, PHILIPPINES- A 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook the central Philippine province of Southern Leyte Monday, the state seismology institute said.

The quake was felt in varying intensities across the province and nearby islands, it said.

There were no immediate reports of any damage.
