Death plunge

Weeraphat Tangwijitsakul, a senior at Abac University, died instantly when his body hit the ground. A friend told police the young man had complained about his girlfriend, who is studying abroad, seeing another man. But he had shown no other sign of distress until his death.

"Weeraphat was always good at school, well-behaved, and did not smoke or drink," his friend told police.

Investigators found no sign of a fight or foul play in his room at in Samut Prakan's Bang Bor district, but further inquiries into the incident would continue.
