Mother, step father arrested for torturing boy, 3

THAILAND - The biological mum and step father who have allegedly tortured the three-year-old boy have been arrested Friday.

Police found them at the opposite side of the Future Park Department Store in Rangsit looking strange with suspect.

The two are stepfather Apichai Panla, 30 and biological mother of the three year old boy Wassan Kampu, 27.

The police said, when looking at them closely, they both look very similar to those who were in the arrest warant.

Apichai has confessed that he used to be a drug addict before. However, about the wounds of the boy, he said that the wounds were not caused by the hot water pouring on the boy but it was caused from a motorbike accident.

He was threatened by the father of the boy which sometimes can lead into serious issue which the father of the boy has randomly shot the gun to threaten him. In addition, he added that it is true that he had smacked the boy but only for teaching and every time it is done in front of his mum.
