S'pore stocks higher at midday

>Singapore stocks rose with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 65.22 points, or 2.26 per cent, to 2,955.88, at midday.

Some 676.5 million shares exchanged hands. Gainers beat losers 325 to 120. --ST
