STI opens higher

SINGAPORE shares open higher on Thursday with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 13.09 points, or 0.48 per cent higher, at 2,758.13.

About 39.3 million shares were traded.

Gainers beat losers 65 to 33.
