S'pore shares open higher

SINGAPORE shares opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,752.51 in early trade, up 0.12 per cent, or 3.36 points.

Around 96.4 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 65 to 56.
