1,500 fans turn up to support actor Takeshi Kaneshiro's new film

IF the turnout is any indication, Taiwanese-Japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro has a big following in Japan.

Indeed, some 1,500 fans turned up at an event in which he appeared to promote a Japanese-language movie, his first in six years.

The film is a fantasy adapted from the best-seller Accuracy Of Death.

He portrays a music-loving Angel of Death.
