PARIS - ENGLISH Premier League side Chelsea have snapped up 12-year-old Jeremy Boga from Marseille-based junior club ASPTT, according to the French club on Wednesday.

Boga, born on Jan 3, 1997, joined ASPTT in 2002, developing into a highly-rated player over six seasons.

He attracted the attention of a host of French clubs, namely champions Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Monaco.

No further details of the deal have been made released, but it is thought that Boga's father works in London.
