PARIS Hilton took to Twitter early on Wednesday to refute rumours stemming from her arrest last Friday, said MTV.com.

"These rumours going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel," she wrote.

Hilton did not elaborate on which rumours she claims are false.

She has been charged with felony cocaine possession and faces a possible sentence of up to four years in prison.

She is due in court on Oct 27.
