Bus frequency need reviewed
Mon, Jun 09, 2008
my paper

I REFER to Mr Mike Chong Seng Yew's suggestion to increase the frequency of bus 169 (my paper, June 4).

During the evening peak hours, the frequency of service 169 averages eight minutes, which is adequate to meet passengers' demand.

Traffic congestion on the roads leading in and out of Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange may result in delays to the service at times.

SMRT is monitoring the situation and will make the adjustments accordingly.

We thank the writer for his feedback.
