Tourist pass expiry date not clear
Tue, Nov 03, 2009
my paper

I WENT to Bugis MRT station's ticket office to claim the refundable deposit of $20 for two Singapore Tourist Passes last Friday.

The officer-in-charge said the deposit could not be refunded, because the cards were past their expiry date.

However, the cards' purchase receipt stated that the expiry date was last Friday.

The officer insisted that the refund had to be claimed within five days from the purchase date of Oct 25, that is, last Thursday.

I hope EZ-Link can clarify whether the expiry dates on the purchase receipts of tourist passes are correct.
