THIERRY Henry says playing for Barcelona is like playing for The Beatles.

The French ace insists that he has no regrets about calling time on a goal-laden spell at Arsenal and is enjoying life in Catalonia.

Despite being forced to play on the left wing for much of the season Henry still feels that he has enjoyed a successful first season in Spain, even if it has taken time for him to get used to the welcome the Barcelona squad often receive on its travels.

'It has been a fantastic experience. I am enjoying it,' he told The Sun.

'When you play with Barca away from home, it is chaos.

'When you travel with Barca it's like The Beatles are in town.'

But he also made it clear that he had no intention of returning to England despite admitting that his form had been affected due to being apart from his daughter.

Barcelona are seven points behind leaders and holders Real Madrid in La Liga and are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they will meet Schalke.

His former club Arsenal, meanwhile, are in the hunt for European honours and are keeping up their pursuit of the Premier League title in the first season since Henry's departure.

While Henry is keen to see his old team-mates do well, he insists he made the right decision to move on following eight seasons in north London.

'I don't have any regrets. Not at all. I've only been on the bench three times and one of those was for a rest.

'I have seven goals in the league, three in the Champions League and three in the Cup. And I have eight assists. For a winger, that is not bad!

'I love London, don't get me wrong. But I also love Barcelona. The weather here is amazing.'

Henry is also confident that the La Liga battle is far from over and that Frank Rijkaard's side could still wrestle the title away from Real.

'We can still catch them,' he insisted.
