WILL the Lions get to play their return away match against Jordan on 3 Mar next year, on neutral ground in another country?

Or will they still have to travel to Jordan as dictated in the fixtures for now, but knowing at least that their game will be classified as a 'high-risk' game where extra measures for travel, logistics, accommodation and food will be taken.

Will the Lions and the Jordanians be punished for last week's post-match fight at the National Stadium?

Or will the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) be fined for the post-match fight, since they were the hosts after all?

These questions can only be answered once Asian football's ruling body, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), decides after receiving reports from both the football federations of both countries.

Today, the FAS will decide on what to submit in its full report to AFC regarding last week's dramatic post-match fight with the Jordan team in the dressing room tunnel.

Police reports and team reports will be given.

Even articles from The New Paper, especially last Friday's edition, could be added to FAS' final submission.

Brawl

Lions manager Eugene Loo, 36, and the FAS made a police report after that game, in which he claimed that one of Jordan's assistant coaches - Jamal Abu Abed - had uttered the words 'Come to Jordan, you die'.

He claimed those five words sparked off the dressing room tunnel brawl between the Lions and their beaten Jordanian counterparts at the National Stadium last Wednesday.

Loo identified pictures of Jamal taken by The New Paper at Changi Airport, before the Jordan team left for home last Thursday morning.

Match commissioner Subramaniam Rasamanickam, who was at the stadium, will submit his own independent report to AFC.

FAS spokesman Eric Ong said: 'We have to look at all the reports and decide what we will put in the final submission.

'It's not in our power to ask for special considerations.

'That's for AFC to decide and rule.'
