More racy photos of HK stars online

HONG KONG - More nude photos allegedly featuring Hong Kong celebrities have been posted online, as police here work with Interpol to trace the culprit who uploaded them.

Actress Cecilia Cheung is the latest star hit by the porn prank, after two images featuring a woman who looks like her were released on the Web on Tuesday.

In one photo, the woman is in bed, half undressed and with eyes half open. In the other, she is in a bathroom and nude.

Four more pictures that appear to show singer-actors Edison Chen and Gillian Chung in bed were also posted on Tuesday, after a photo of them was first circulated on Sunday, said Ming Pao Daily News.

In the series of four pictures - released on a newsgroup by a user nicknamed Edison Chen - a Chen lookalike is performing a sexual act on a Chung lookalike.

The photos seem to have been shot in the same bedroom as the first picture.

The three stars had all made complaints to the police by Tuesday, said Apple Daily.

Cheung's lawyer said in a statement that the actress, who is married to singer-actor Nicholas Tse and has a son, 'strongly condemns this illegal act'.

The photos have prompted an outbreak of 'did they or didn't they' discussions in Hong Kong.

Netizens said the bathroom in the alleged picture of Cheung looks like Chen's toilet, which he has been photographed in. They noted that the woman in the picture, like Cheung, has a tattoo just above the buttocks.

As for Chung, her record company insisted that the photos of her were doctored - with her head pasted on someone else's body. Fans said the image of her face, with eyes shut and lips curled up, could have come from her film Beyond Our Ken, reported Oriental Daily News.

But Apple Daily, citing unnamed sources, said the police had yet to confirm that all the pictures were digitally faked.

The report said that according to police findings, the photos were first released on a South-east Asian server. But a Hong Kong culprit could have used a foreign server as a cover, the report added.
