Sing Tao said the police found more pictures after Chen handed them two computers last Friday. The new protagonists in the scandal were not identified in reports in Sing Tao and Apple Daily yesterday. But Apple Daily, citing sources, said the women are A-list stars who have been linked to Chen. Rumours have been rife that at least 14 female stars are involved in the scandal. However, a police spokesman told Apple Daily last Saturday that they had no new information. Since his return, Chen has been questioned by the police at least twice. Apple Daily said he spent seven hours at the commercial crime bureau last Friday and another six hours at the police headquarters last Saturday. The paper quoted sources as saying he was cautious in his answers but too vague at times, making the sessions much longer than they had to be. Instead of going back to his home in the pricey Mid-levels district, the Canada-born Chen has been staying at Four Seasons hotel. After his apology last Thursday, his parents have also said sorry for the scandal. His Vancouver-based mother, who is divorced from his Hong Kong-based businessman father, told Apple Daily last Friday that she had failed as a parent. She said: 'The moment I saw my son apologising to me on TV, I had an impulse to call him immediately and tell him I should be the one apologising.' She said her son grew up a rebel because he didn't have a 'whole, healthy family'. She added that she was thankful to his girlfriend, student Vincy Yeung, for supporting him. 'Luckily, we have her supporting Edison. Although she's young, she's mature and sympathetic, and extremely understanding. Edison and I both like her so much.' As for Chen's father, he said he hoped the women in the photos could forgive Edison.
