Can't watch free HDTV programmes

I WOULD like to ask the Media Development Authority when consumers will be able to watch free-to-air high-definition (HD) channels such as HD5. Due to the spat between MediaCorp and StarHub, StarHub subscribers cannot watch HD5 on the cable platform.

I find it ridiculous that I have to get an external aerial to watch HD5.

I also find it ridiculous that while HDTV sets are selling like hot cakes, Singaporeans cannot watch free-to-air HD channels as in the United States.
