NEW DELHI: Thousands of people, mainly Christians, have fled to the jungles or government shelters following a wave of anti-Christian violence in eastern Orissa.
At least 14 people have been killed and the authorities have imposed a curfew in several areas with shoot-on-sight orders in place.
'We have nine such centres with food and other facilities, where nearly 10,000 victims of violence from both Christian and Hindu communities are now living,' said senior government official Arunachal Das.
