A MAN who allegedly tried to rob a bank at City Plaza last week while dressed like a woman has been accused of a second crime - a drug offence.

Ismail Shaikh Ahmad, 45, was charged yesterday with taking morphine the same day as the alleged attempted hold-up.

He made his first appearance in court yesterday since he attempted the foiled robbery at a United Overseas Bank branch at City Plaza in Geylang Road on Nov 10.
