A YOUNG medical officer was among the 10 people killed in a horrific bus crash along Malaysia's North-South Highway over the weekend.

It is understood that Dr David Ho Chung Shin, 26, a Singapore permanent resident, was returning home after attending a friend's wedding in Perak.

Reports said he was working at Changi General Hospital. The Hong Kong national was believed to have been in the last row of seats, and had been trapped in the bus after the accident.
