TRIATHLETES take note: if the annual Osim Singapore International Triathlon has always been your key race for the year, it is time to shift your training plan forward by a few months next year.

For that annual marquee event - typically in July at East Coast Park - is set to merge with the May 9-10 International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championships series opening leg here.

Osim's brand and strategic marketing head, Alan Tan, confirmed this on Tuesday.
