AN ALREADY financially tight year may get even bleaker for the Singapore Athletic Association.

The Straits Times understands that the SAA's allocation will be zero when annual grants to national sports associations (NSAs) are revealed in March.

This, after it submitted its Financial Year 2009 training and development plans two months late.
