A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl died in hospital last night and police have arrested her 26-year-old father for the murder.

The toddler showed little signs of life when she arrived unconscious at the National University Hospital just after 8pm.

Doctors attempted to resuscitate her but failed to do so.
