Hong Kong - Former TVB star Gigi Lai, who announced her retirement last October to take care of her younger brother, is to marry next month, a report said.

Citing sources, Next magazine on Wednesday said the 37-year-old will marry Hong Kong businessman Patrick Ma, a scion of the Ma family which owns the Oriental Press Group, publisher of the Hong Kong newspaper Oriental Daily.

The Feb 22 wedding, a simple one for family members, will be held in Sydney, where Ma, 52, owns various properties.
