IT IS a common sight at supermarkets: shoppers, usually housewives with children in tow, leaving their bags in their trolleys to keep their hands free to shop.
Some even leave their trolleys and valuables and walk away to another part of the store to get groceries.
But at least seven such people fall prey to thieves in supermarkets here each month, said the police.
