THREE five-star hotels have confirmed that the head chefs of their well-known Chinese restaurants are no longer working there, in the wake of an ongoing corruption probe.

The three men are among more than 20 Chinese restaurant chefs who are said to have been implicated in a scandal involving alleged kickbacks given by a seafood supplier here.

On Tuesday, in response to queries from The Straits Times, Four Seasons Hotel confirmed that chef Steven Ng, who headed its Jiang-Nan Chun restaurant, resigned on Monday.
