British author and graphic novelist Neil Gaiman will be making his way to Singapore next month for the Singapore Writers Festival, a biennial event celebrating the literary arts.

The Minnesota-based comic book writer, best known for his DC Comics postmodern hit series The Sandman, first visited Singapore four years ago.

The cult writer, whose works have dark fantastical undertones, will be holding a reading with singer and composer Amanda Palmer, the lead singer of The Dresden Dolls, a Brechtian punk cabaret group, aptly on Oct 31, or Halloween.
