The Straits Times

A YOUNG man who had sex with a 14-year-old girl was jailed for two months yesterday.

The case first came to light when the KK Women's and Children's Hospital, where the girl went for an abortion, notified police in June last year of her pregnancy.

Investigations showed that the pair first became friends in 2006, while the girl was a Secondary 1 student. She was 13 then. They soon became a couple.
