SINGAPORE Press Holdings (SPH) yesterday opened its first convenience store, which sells all its publications in addition to food products and beverages.

The new 300 sq ft store, known as 'Buzz Pod', is located near a bus stop along Marine Parade Road and is within walking distance of Parkway Parade.

It is SPH's biggest news-stand to date. The 47 smaller news-stands operated by the media group sell only newspapers, magazines and confectionary items.
