PM on cost concerns, rising expectations

THE Government is aware of public concerns over issues such as the cost of living, pricier HDB flats and the problems faced by those described as the sandwiched class, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said yesterday.

And he gave his assurance during a dialogue with People's Action Party (PAP) members at its annual convention that those affected have not been forgotten.

Many measures are already in place, he said, citing tax rebates and housing grants, among others.
