Ministry of Health not profiting from jabs

A SHOT of the H1N1 vaccine costs $29 at the 18 polyclinics islandwide, but at a chain of private clinics, it is going for $1.20 less.

The Healthway Medical Clinic group, which has 40 GP clinics, is charging $27.80, including GST.

Its spokesman said that by keeping overheads and spending low, it is able to charge less.
