VIEWERS who are hoping to get the best of StarHub and SingTel's mio TV via one set-top box will not get their wish.

SingTel yesterday rejected StarHub's offer to host its pay-TV content, including the Champions League and English Premier League (EPL) football matches from next season.

Said SingTel Singapore chief executive Allen Lew: 'While the conditions of the proposal are confidential, I do want to tell all of you that we have responded to the letter and have formally declined its offer. We will not be using StarHub to carry our sports content to the customers.'
