200 pilgrims leave for haj

Some 200 haj pilgrims were given a big send-off at Changi Airport yesterday.

Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Yaacob Ibrahim (in pink shirt) and Muis president Alami Musa saw them off.

Speaking to reporters after the event, Dr Yaacob said the pilgrims should stay healthy and keep in touch with the Singapore Haj Mission if they have any problems.
