New man set to take the helm at SICCI

A NEW chief executive is set to be appointed at the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) at the start of next year.

Mr Hernaikh Singh, 46, who is currently the associate director of the Institute of South Asian Studies, will bring with him more than 20 years of experience in Singapore Government, the non-governmental sector and the research fraternity.

Mr Singh will take up his role at the non-profit organisation that represents the Indian business community here on Friday.
