Thu, May 27, 2010
The Straits Times

A MAN sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl under the guise of initiation rites to join a female gang, a district court heard yesterday.

Leslie Basil Netto, then 23, told the victim that every girl who entered the gang would need to have sex with him. When she refused, he said that, at the very least, he would touch her.

The 25-year-old assistant manager of a restaurant was jailed for 12 months yesterday for touching her private parts inside a bedroom at a flat in Sengkang on Sept 20, 2008.
