ROMANIAN officials who were due to arrive in Singapore yesterday to investigate the hit-and-run case involving a suspended Romanian diplomat will now arrive on Sunday instead.

In response to queries yesterday, a Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman confirmed that their visit will now run from Sunday to next Wednesday.

Mr Alex Coseru, the acting charge d'affaires of the Romanian Embassy here, said the officials postponed their visit after they were informed that tomorrow is Vesak Day, a public holiday here, and also to allow more time for the witnesses to be assembled.
