>SALTILLO, MEXICO - A fire fighter standing next to the wreckage of a DC-9 plane on the outskirts of Saltillo in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila on Sunday.

The cargo plane, carrying a load of car parts, crashed shortly before landing near the Plan de Guadalupe international airport, 320 km south of the US-Mexico border, killing the pilot and injuring the co-pilot, officials said. --Reuters
