HONG KONG - A CHINESE plane bumped into a lorry after landing at Hong Kong International Airport on Tuesday, but no passengers or staff were injured, an airport spokesman said.

The Air China CA103 flight from the northern Chinese city of Tianjin hit the lorry as it approached the parking gate after safely landing at 11.53 am (0353 GMT), the Hong Kong Airport Authority spokesman said.

'The right-hand wing tip slightly collided with a vehicle, which was stationed nearby,' the spokesman said.

'No passengers or members of staff were injured. The passengers were moved to the terminal by bus later.'

An investigation into the collision is now taking place, the spokesman added. -- AFP
