SIA Hong Kong flights cancelled, rescheduled

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has cancelled or rescheduled its Hong Kong flights today due to poor weather conditions there.

Flights SQ870, scheduled to depart from Singapore at 7pm to Hong Kong, and SQ873, which will fly from HK to Singapore at 8.15pm has been cancelled, announced SIA in a news release.

SQ002, which is on a Singapore-Hong Kong-San Francisco route, has been rescheduled to September 24. The flight will leave Singapore at 9am tomorrow and depart Hong Kong at 1.45pm.

SIA apologises for the disruptions, due to the extreme weather conditions caused by Typhoon Hagupit.

Customers whose flights are cancelled will be assisted in rebookings on subsequent flights and are advised to call Singapore Airlines Reservations at +65 6223 8888 for details of the arrangements, said SIA.

Customers and meeters and greeters are advised to stay in touch with flight information via the Company's website (singaporeair.com) via FLIGHT STATUS or "News Alert" or by calling the Changi Airport flight information hotline on 1800 542 4422.
