City centre check-in for Changi?
Thu, Oct 02, 2008
The Straits Times

CHANGI Airport is studying if it is possible to have off-site check-in facilities, for example at hotels.

It means that air travellers can pick up their boarding passes and hand over their luggage hours before flight time, and without having to go to the airport.

Although online check-in - done at home, in the office or anywhere else - is already available today, passengers still need to check in their luggage separately when they get to the airport.
