Determined to spread the message of love for earth, "Taiwan Ah-Long", a self-styled environmental warrior, decided to travel the world and kiss 195 countries. He has already "kissed" his way from Taiwan to Singapore.

In Singapore, at Clifford Pier where the Merlion stands, "Taiwan Ah-Long" first ate local rice, then drank local water and kissed Singapore soil for a full 43 seconds.

It was a specially timed kiss to commemorate Singapore's 43 years of independence. He was presented with a bottle of Singapore soil in aid of his love-the-earth mission to complete just one little piece of Mother Earth.

His real name is Huang Hong Cheng, and he is a published writer of a self-help book. According to Huang, everybody has two mothers; one biological mother and the other is Mother Earth.

In his mission to stoke awareness for the environment, Huang has created a club called "Taiwan Ah-Long Earth Kissing Club" which is currently 200-members strong.

Huang will dedicate 30 years of his life to travel to 195 countries to kiss their soils and gather them in a bottle. He has embarked on this since July this year with the first stop in Japan.

In Taiwan for three-years, Huang has already kissed his way through 319 Taiwanese village territories. A map of Taiwan is formed by the soil gathered throughout the region.
