AirAsia plans new links to S'pore budget terminal

Airline AirAsia is planning a number of new links between Singapore and other cities.

Among the destinations in the pipeline are Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia, as well as Medan and Surabaya in Indonesia.

AirAsia will also increase the frequency of flights on some of the existing routes to Singapore this year, said chief executive Tony Fernandes.
