IF YOU'RE still feeling energetic when your favourite club closes at 3 or 4am, then take a detour to one of these joints and party on till the cock crows at 6am.

Attica Too
01-03 Clarke Quay

From 11pm to 5.30am on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays
Cover charge: $28, includes two drinks

Sitting above Attica on the ground floor, Attica Too plays the latest housebeats and sometimes features foreign guest DJs. The clientele is largely made up of expatriates.

Dragonfly
St James Power Station, 3 Sentosa Gateway

6pm to 6am daily
Cover charge: $10 for women and $12 for men from 9pm onwards from Sundays to Thursdays, $15 for women and $20 for men from 9pm onwards on Fridays and Saturdays (all cover charges include one drink)

With three bands and 30 entertainers, no effort is spared when it comes to providing good live entertainment in this popular Mandarin-pop club. The crowd is of various ages and races, with a smattering of expatriates.

Lunar
01-02, The Cannery, Clarke Quay

6pm to 6am daily
Cover charge: Free after 2am

This Asian fusion bar is furnished with Chinese pop art paintings hanging from the ceiling. It features interesting live acts such as a female quartet on traditional Chinese instruments accompanying the band on the latest Mandarin hits or a South American band dishing out Chinese hits bossa-nova style. The patrons are Chinese and of all ages.

The Living Room
Singapore Marriott Hotel
Open:
4pm to 6am from Wednesdays to Saturdays
Cover charge: Free entry

This is just the place to chill out and get back your senses after a hard night of partying. Latin house music, a bevy of cocktails and nice plush sofas provide a comfortable place to rest your feet after all the dancing. Expatriates and locals alike come here for drinks.

Thumper
Goodwood Park Hotel
Open:
Room 36 party takes place between 3 and 6am every Friday and Saturday
Cover charge: Free entry

Recently revamped and re-opened under a new management, Thumper now has a Room 36 party every Friday and Saturday, when it opens till 6am and features a guest DJ on alternate Saturdays. Models and office people, both locals and expatriates, frequent this upmarket joint.
