Champ's Cereal

I've been a big fan of Dorset Cereals for some time now, and have found two good new flavours.

Both feature toasty spelt, barley and corn flakes but come with different dried fruits.

There's one with dried cherries and pomegranates , with a tart kick that will wake up any sleepy head in the morning. Notice how food manufacturers are trying to cram this ancient symbol of fertility into as many products as possible? The good thing about all this is that the fruit is rich in healthy antioxidants.

The other one, with dried figs and grapes (more plump and less wrinkly than raisins), is just as good.

Both are excellent with very cold milk. Definitely a breakfast of champions.

Dorset Cereals,
$14.50 for a 415g box, from Meidi-Ya, B1 Liang Court,
Tel: 6339-1111.
Opening hours: 10am to 10pm daily.
